FIBERGLASS MESH is designed for reinforcement of concrete structures and substitutes standard metallic reinforcement.
It has the following advantages over metal:
- 9 times lighter
- 3 times stronger
- by 25% cheaper
- corrosion-resistant
- considerably speeds up reinforcement process (does not require binding on site)
- does not require under laying of chairs
- low thermal conductivity
Application area
The use of meshes is restricted only to their impossibility to work at temperatures above 150°С, therefore at this stage it is not recommended to reinforce structures which shall comply with fire requirements: building coverings over 3 stories, bridge columns, monolith pillars over 3 stories.
