Fiberglass mesh is designed to reinforce concrete structures instead of conventional metal reinforcement.
It has the following advantages in relation to metal:
- 9 times lighter
- 3 times stronger
- corrosion resistant
- significantly accelerates the reinforcement process (knitting on the object is not necessary)
- no need to put chairs
- low thermal conductivity
Composite bars are connected to the network using a unique patented technology, which uses high performance automatic equipment. The joint is also a stool that forms a protective layer of concrete. For different rod diameters, the height of the stool is different.
The only restriction on the use of fiberglass mesh is the inability to operate at temperatures above 150 ° C, therefore, it is not recommended to reinforce structures that must meet special fire requirements: building floors of more than 3 floors, bridge columns, monolithic towers of more than 3 floors.
